ABSTRACT: The efficacy and safety of once a day application of mometasone furoate 0.1 percent ointment in the treatment of moderate to severe chronic psoriasis was studied in 50 patients. Erythema, induration, and scaling together with physician's global evaluation during every weekly follow-up were the criteria of efficacy. Mometasone furoate was founds to be highly effective and safe.
