A 50 year old woman presented with an ulceroproliferative mass in the value of 4 month duration. Biopsy of the lesion showed features of a basisquamous cell carcinoma. This is a rare tumour showing histopathological features of both basal cell and squamous cell carcinomas. The clinical, histopathological and histogenetic status of this tumour are discussed.
