Three diabetic patients with rhinocerebral zygomycosis are described here with the characteristic clinical and histological features. Rhizopus spp. was isolated in two of the cases and both of them succumbed within a week after the diagnosis. The other patient is being treated with oral itraconazole in a dose of 200 mg/day with moderately good response.
