The original article titled “Childhood leprosy: A retrospective descriptive study from Delhi” published in Ind ian Journal of Dermatology, on pages 455-458, Issue 6, Volume 63, 2018,[1] is being retracted because it is a duplicate publication of an article titled “Childhood leprosy: A retrospective descriptive study from Delhi” published in Indian Journal of Paediatric Dermatology, on pages 325-328, Volume 20, Issue 4, 2019.[2] The editor-in-chief of both the journals as well as the author decided to retract the article.
Plagiarism, fabrication, unethical or redundant publication violates the editorial policy of Indian Journal of Dermatology, which follows best practice guidelines given by the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE) and Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) mentioned on the Information for Authors and as codified in the signed statements made by the authors regarding the copyright of their work.
This article has been retracted on request of the Authors and Editor-in-Chief of the journal.
