Vitiligo has been reported to be associated with various autoimmune disorders from time to time 1-3 Similarly pemphigus vulgaris has also been reported to be associated with other auto-immune diseases4. We are herein reporting a case of vitiligo who developed the lesions of pemphigus vulgaris, a year later.

Is twenty-nail dystrophy a separate entity ?
AK Jaiswal, B Bhushan, PS. Murthy
July-September 1992, 37(3):27-28
ABSTRACT: Twenty-nail dystrophy (TND) is a rare disorder that has characteristic changes of all nails in the absence of skin changes 1. The nails are affected simultaneously and display opalescence, dullness, thinning, fragility and excessive longitudinal ridging. Because of rarity of this disorder and controversy surrounding its aetiopathogenesis, we herein describe a patient of TND who had associated mild ichthyosis and histopathogically showed eczematous changes of the nail matrix.
